Fine Rhythm in the Small Bronze Brickbond Mosaic

The narrow tessera gives this design a denser and more directional character than a conventional brick mosaic. Its irregular, crumpled face breaks the warm gold-bronze finish into a succession of small highlights, creating movement without relying on colour contrast. Setting Out the Linear Metal Mosaic

The fine repeat makes careful sheet alignment particularly important. Before fixing, review how the staggered joints run through corners, sockets, niches and changes of plane, and avoid small perimeter cuts where possible. As the published product information states that grouting is not required, the appearance depends on close sheet-to-sheet alignment and considered edge treatment. Samples should be viewed under the project’s actual lighting so the reflective texture can be assessed at both close range and across the full surface.
