Looking like part of an ancient temple, these hammered brass briquette tiles are from De Ferranti’s ‘Alchemy’ Collection. The briquettes have a surface of hand-patinated Brass and are bonded to a marine ply base. They can be used on walls or floors. Also available in Bronze, German Silver and Copper, tiles in different metals can be used together to create patterns. Bespoke sizes and finishes are available to order.

Hammered Brass Briquette Tiles with Texture

Texture I is characterised by an irregular hand-worked surface that breaks up reflection across each rectangular briquette. Warm gold, brown and slightly darker patinated tones remain visible as the light changes, giving a field of tiles more depth than a uniformly polished brass surface. The brick-like module can be used in straightforward offset layouts or incorporated into more deliberate pattern planning.
