Part of De Ferranti’s Hide Collection, it is made from English saddlery leather, cut to shape and hand dyed to a rich chocolate tone. The surface is hand finished to create a subtle antiqued patina, with the leather’s natural grain and tonal movement left visible.

Mounted to a stable marine ply base, the tile is designed for interior floors and walls. It works particularly well as a perimeter border or tramline to define herringbone, parquet and panelled layouts, and can form a transition between leather fields and materials such as stone, metal or timber.
