This blue bead cement tile combines a soft grey concrete field with pale petal inlays and round blue dots, forming a calm lattice repeat with jewellery-like detail. Blue Bead Lattice is cast in a mineral grey concrete base and inlaid with two contrasting elements: slim almond-shaped pieces arranged as petals, and round blue accents that punctuate each junction. Together they create an airy, repeating trellis that reads as both geometric and floral, depending on how it is viewed. The overall effect is refined rather than busy: matte cement, crisp pale inlay and cool blue points that resemble small cabochons set into the surface. It works well on bathroom walls and floors, splashbacks, entrance halls and feature panels, and pairs naturally with limestone, pale timbers and brushed metals. Expect gentle variation in tone and lightly irregular edge character as part of the hand-made cement surface.
The cadence of small repeated pieces gives the design a kinship with mosaic, although here the ornament is embedded within a cement field. The Mosaics collection provides a broader view of tessellated surface craft, while Inlay & Intarsio explores the principle of setting one material into another. Within this collection, Auric Fan shifts towards shell and warm ochre, while Terra Tessera introduces a more earthy linked repeat.
For this blue bead cement tile, set out several tiles before fixing to judge where complete lattice junctions fall at edges, corners and principal sightlines. A warm grey or pale stone grout can keep the repeat visually continuous. Confirm sealing, substrate, joint width, slip requirements and suitability for any swimming-pool or warm-climate exterior application before specification.
