Beautifully patinated, these patinated bronze wall tiles are from De Ferranti’s ‘Alchemy’ Collection. The tiles are handbeaten patinated Brass (bronzed) and bonded to a marine ply base. Also in De Ferranti’s Alchemy Collection are tiles in Brass, German Silver and Copper. Tiles in different metals can be used together to create patterns. Bespoke sizes and finishes are available to order. Current product guidance identifies Bronze Tiles as suitable for walls only.

Patinated Bronze Wall Tiles and Tonal Variation

The surface is deliberately lively rather than uniform. Fine hand-worked marks sit beneath a patina that moves between warm copper, russet, brown and muted gold, so adjoining tiles develop a varied field when installed together. The square format keeps the composition disciplined while allowing colour and texture to provide the visual movement.
