This red geometric glass mosaic is a Jazz Glass design by The Artistic Tile Company, handcrafted from highly reflective glass tesserae. The Jazz Glass range is full of life and pizzazz; designs vary from irregular geometric pieces to regular ‘sticks’, squares or wavy shapes, while colours include Red Hot Mamma and Fats Dark Brown among many rich hues.

Red Geometric Glass Mosaic

Red Hot Mamma geometric is built from irregular rectangular and near-square pieces in saturated scarlet and crimson, interrupted by warmer orange-red and ember-like notes. The tesserae change size and orientation across the field, producing a broken rhythm rather than a strict repeat. Light catches individual pieces differently, so the red appears denser in some areas and more luminous in others.

It gives a saturated surface movement and prevents the composition from reading as a flat block of red. The Jazz Glass name is particularly apt here, as the pattern feels closer to syncopation than to a conventional grid.
