Jazz Glass by Artistic Tile Company

Jazz Glass mosaics by Artistic Tile are all about light that moves. Rich stained-glass colour, crisp geometry, and that unmistakable gleam make a room feel instantly more considered. It is the kind of surface that turns everyday spaces into something a little more cinematic.

Crafted from true stained glass in the tradition of centuries-old glassmaking, Jazz Glass™ delivers luminous depth that standard glass simply cannot fake. Each piece catches and refracts light differently, creating subtle tonal shifts across the surface as you move through the room.

Available in artful mosaics and chic field tiles, the collection spans bold colour statements, soft neutrals, and graphic patterns that can read either classic or contemporary depending on how you style them.

Where Jazz Glass Mosaics Work Best

Bathrooms suit shower walls, vanity splashes, bath surrounds and feature panels. In kitchens, the material can be used for splashbacks, niche details, chimney breasts and statement walls. Feature applications include bars, powder rooms, entrance moments and fireplace surrounds, where suitable for the installation.

Design Notes You Will Actually Care About

Lighting matters: warm lighting amplifies depth and mood, while cooler lighting sharpens colour and geometry. Grout is part of the design, with tonal grout creating a quieter field and contrasting grout making the tesserae more graphic. Jazz Glass also pairs naturally with brushed brass, polished nickel, dark timber, marble and soft plaster finishes. The end result is refined, slightly playful and distinctly light-responsive.

Stained Glass with a Jazz Vocabulary

The musical language is deliberate. Artistic Tile has described Jazz Glass as a long-running tribute to jazz performers including Fats Waller, Billie Holiday, Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Armstrong and John Coltrane. That association helps explain a collection built around rhythm, colour and variation rather than a single rigid pattern. De Ferranti’s four Jazz Glass mosaics focus this idea into two Fats Dark Brown and two Red Hot Mamma designs, each offered in either irregular geometric tesserae or slender sticks.
