This brass floral cabochon combines Black Marble, Yellow Sandstone and brass in a strong circular composition. A broad warm flower occupies the centre of the dark square field, with a black circular core and a golden sandstone ring defining the outer edge. The limited palette gives the motif the clarity of an emblem while the material changes add depth.

The flower is deliberately simple: broad rounded petals form a near-continuous disc, allowing the black marble to appear as narrow crescents between the petals and the outer ring.
