Our drusilla stone border is created to frame a floor and lift a scheme with colour, rhythm and personal detail. This unique border is fashioned from Verde Antico, Rare Porphyry, Giallo Antico and Cream & Grey Marble over a cement base, ensuring that the border is stable, sound and easier to install.

Totally hand-cut and hand assembled, it is a truly handmade product. No border is exactly the same, as the artist’s hand is vital in creating natural nuance within each interlocking piece. Thicknesses can be 1 cm or 2 cm, or made to order, as can the border widths and material combinations. All De Ferranti borders are fully customisable. The current finish is antiqued.

The design combines a muted green stone ground with pale interlacing forms, warm yellow petals and small red and blue accents. The repeat has a floral, almost heraldic rhythm, with curved white bands and leaf-like shapes giving the border movement without losing its formal structure.

This Drusilla stone border can be used to frame a floor, define a threshold, create a decorative wall band, enrich a fireplace surround, or introduce a more personal perimeter line within residential, hospitality and leisure interiors, subject to specification. Where suitable, it may also be considered for external use in warm climates.
