


Cyprian stone border, designed to create a luxurious frame around a floor and lift a scheme with colour, rhythm and personal detail. The Cyprian Chiaro Border is fashioned from Connemara Marble, Rare Porphyry, lapis and Cream Marbles over a cement base, ensuring that the border is stable, sound and easier to install.
Totally hand-cut and hand assembled, it is a truly handmade product. No border is exactly the same, as the artist’s hand is vital in creating natural nuance within each interlocking piece. Thicknesses can be 1 cm or 2 cm, or made to order, as can the border widths and material combinations. All De Ferranti borders are fully customisable. The current finish is antiqued.
The composition combines pale Chiaro tones with soft green, muted red, grey, cream and small blue accents. Circles, scrolls and geometric cuts sit within a framed band, creating a decorative rhythm that feels classical, but not heavy. The green of the Connemara Marble gives the border mineral depth, while Rare Porphyry, lapis and Cream Marbles introduce richness and contrast.
This Cyprian stone border can be used to frame a floor, define a threshold, create a decorative wall band, enrich a fireplace surround, or introduce a more detailed perimeter line within residential, hospitality or leisure interiors, subject to specification. Where suitable, it may also be considered for external use in warm climates.
Cyprian Chiaro Border belongs to De Ferranti’s Borders – Various Disciplines collection, where stone, marble, metal, mosaic and specialist inlay borders can be tailored for project use.
