This painted stone panel draws on the visual language of dot painting, using thousands of carefully placed marks to create depth, movement, and optical vibration. Terracotta and iron-red hues form the main geometry, with concentric targets and radiating pathways that feel both ceremonial and architectural. Across the field, dense white dots create a shimmering, star-like texture that shifts as light moves across the surface.
The stone itself adds weight and presence, giving the artwork a tactile base rather than a flat painted substrate. The finish can be sealed for durability, making it suitable as a framed wall panel, a feature insert, a tabletop surface, or a focal artwork within a larger stone composition.
If this is to be presented as Aboriginal art (rather than simply inspired by the style), it should be commissioned and attributed properly, ideally in collaboration with Indigenous artists and with clear provenance.
