Desert Rhythm – Dot Painted Sandstone Tile
Hand-painted inspired by the rhythmic language of Aboriginal dot traditions.
Desert Rhythm is created on natural , where settles softly into the porous surface, producing depth, warmth and subtle tonal variation. The result is decorative stone that feels alive, layered and textural.

This composition builds movement through repeated concentric circles and flowing arc formations, arranged in horizontal bands that suggest landscape, water and celestial rhythm. Warm terracotta reds, burnt orange, charcoal and soft cream pigments are carefully applied by hand, dot by dot, creating a surface rich in vibration and pattern.

Unlike printed decoration, each tile carries slight variation, reinforcing its handcrafted nature. The beneath gently absorbs the paint, muting the colours and giving the piece a time-softened, quality.

Suitable for feature floors, statement walls, or framed panel installations, Desert Rhythm brings narrative pattern into architectural form.

A surface that speaks in rhythm, texture and earth.
