Mughal Multi Coloured Glass Mosaic
These multicoloured mosaics are created from hand-blown glass “balloons,” a technique rooted in the Mughal tradition and often seen in the palaces of Rajasthan. Each balloon is carefully cut into shape, resulting in a slightly convex surface that catches the light beautifully.

Traditionally used in mirror form to adorn the grand ceilings, walls, and columns of Mughal palaces, this technique brings a sense of regal heritage and intricate craftsmanship to contemporary interiors. In this particular panel, the gently convex glass pieces are set into plaster, creating a shimmering, light-responsive surface.

Ideal for feature walls, niche insets, or decorative borders, these mosaics bring a touch of Rajasthani palace artistry into your space, each installation a tribute to the Mughal legacy of glasswork and architectural beauty.
