This Roman geometric mosaic pavement is a beautiful rendition of an old Roman mosaic pavement, with each stone carefully selected, cut and assembled by hand. The slight indentations in the mosaic field enhance the beauty of the work despite its apparent simplicity. Black lines seem to stand over the handcrafted background field, while the randomness of the small tesserae accentuates its character.
