Scagliola can trick they eye into thinking we are faced with rare marbles such as Giallo Antico, Giallo Sienna, Breccias, Brocatello or Fior di Pesco, then onto the semi-precious versions of Lapis Lazuli, Malachite and Red Jasper to name a few.

This versatile material can also be inlaid, much like the technique of Pietre Dure to stunning effect.
