Egyptian Gold – Silver Flecked Geometric

This silver pyrite geometric tile, (which is also known as Fool’s Gold), is available as tiles of various sizes including briquettes or pavers, or as bespoke-sized slabs. Pyrite is a rare natural material with a unique luminescence that is ideal for luxury interior surfaces, which can easily be customised by teaming it with contrasting tiles such as black agate or semi-precious materials including lapis lazuli, mother of pearl or jasper.

Silver Pyrite Geometric Tile with Flecked Detail

This design brings the collection’s metallic mineral character into a more ordered composition. The silver pyrite geometric tile combines a structured pattern with cooler flecked notes, allowing the reflective material to register as detail within the geometry rather than as an uninterrupted gold field. The result is useful where pattern and mineral variation need to work together without one overwhelming the other.

Compare Egyptian Gold – Geometric for a warmer interpretation of geometric pyrite and Egyptian Gold – Silver Geometric for another cool-toned option. De Ferranti’s Inlay – Intarsio collection provides wider reference for precise decorative composition, while Semi-Precious Tile & Slab offers complementary mineral surfaces for schemes built around colour and material contrast.

Setting Out a Geometric Mineral Surface

A geometric design benefits from careful setting out before installation. Review a representative sample in project lighting, then establish the pattern centreline, edge conditions and transitions to adjacent surfaces. Where the design meets corners, joinery or a border, confirm whether the repeat should continue, mirror or terminate cleanly.

If black agate, lapis lazuli, mother of pearl, jasper or another contrasting surface is introduced, review the materials side by side. Pyrite’s reflective character can shift with direction and light level, so a sample board is useful when balancing warm and cool mineral tones. Final sizing, layout and any customised combination remain subject to project specification.
