Pietre Dure Inlaid Vanity & Basin is produced using the historic Florentine technique of hardstone inlay, in which carefully selected stones are cut, shaped and set into a marble substrate before being ground perfectly flush. The resulting surface is seamless to the touch yet richly detailed to the eye.

Coloured stones such as lapis, malachite, jasper and other semi-precious materials are arranged in a balanced ornamental design that flows across the vanity and into the basin interior, ensuring continuity of pattern and material. Each element is hand finished to preserve clarity of colour, polish and definition.

This method, traditionally reserved for tabletops and decorative panels, is here adapted for contemporary bathroom architecture, combining durability with exceptional artistry. Every piece is made to commission, allowing the choice of marble, stone palette and motif to be tailored precisely to the project.
