This Mother of Pearl Rosette is a luminous Pietre Dure panel composed from white mother of pearl, with a sculptural petal layout that radiates from a circular centre. The material is selected for its natural shimmer and gentle tonal variation, then precisely cut and set into a dark square field. The resulting motif reads as both botanical rosette and compact medallion.

The panel follows the pietre dure principle of shaped elements set into a composed surface and finished flush.
