The Mandala ceramic basin is entirely hand-painted with a radial composition inspired by mandala and Iznik traditions, combining cobalt, turquoise, aqua and emerald with smaller accents of saffron, coral and gold. Its ornament expands outward from the waste in successive bands, using the bowl itself to organise a dense field of symmetry and colour.

The ceramic form is carefully moulded, hand-painted, glazed and fired at approximately 1200°C. A central cobalt and turquoise medallion is surrounded by arabesques, scrolling foliage and repeated petal forms. Fine cobalt linework separates the larger areas of blue-green colour, while a white rim gives the composition a clear boundary. The angled and overhead gallery views show how the design is conceived to remain coherent both in perspective and as a complete circular pattern.

Balancing Pattern in the Wash Space

Because the Mandala ceramic basin interior carries several strong colours and layers of detail, surrounding surfaces can be comparatively restrained or selected to echo one or two tones from the painting. The basin is suited to bathrooms, residential and leisure interiors, restaurants and yachts according to the existing applications. Tap position, lighting and vanity material should be coordinated so the radial centre remains visually legible. The strongest visual effect comes from allowing the full circular design to remain visible, rather than crowding the bowl with adjacent decorative elements or highly active surfaces.
