The Lotus ceramic basin is entirely hand-painted as a floating garden seen from above, with overlapping green leaves and white blossoms spreading across the curved bowl. Its botanical composition is dense but controlled, using repeated scalloped leaf forms as a ground for lighter flowers and a warm, decorative rim.

The basin is carefully moulded in ceramic, painted by hand, glazed and fired at approximately 1200°C. Each leaf is outlined and shaded to create depth, while tonal variation across the green surface suggests veining and movement rather than a flat field of colour.
