A quiet, almost monastic composition, the White Agate Mosaic is formed from precisely cut 12 x 12 mm stone tesserae, hand-inlaid and grouted to create a softly undulating surface. The palette moves through warm chalk whites, faint mineral veining and subtle honeyed inclusions, recalling the aged floors of historic Italian Roman Catholic churches.

Each piece is assembled on a substrate using adhesive, then grouted and ground to a semi-rough finish that enhances its rustic authenticity while retaining refinement.
