This mosaic is crafted from reclaimed Italian porphyry cobbles, carefully cut into approximately 1cm square tesserae. The rich, earthy tones - ranging from warm russet and chestnut to muted plum and stone grey - reflect the natural variation of this highly durable volcanic material.
