This copper pebble mosaic uses hand-cast copper pebbles that are perfect for accents, borders and rondelles. They are supplied either on mesh or stuck onto a sturdy marble substrate. Our copper pebbles can be patinated with hints of verdigris to provide the desired patina. They can also be set into stone. Cast Copper Pebbles are one of the metal interpretations within De Ferranti’s Pebble Collection.
The appeal lies in the contrast between an irregular rounded form and the weight and colour of metal. In the first gallery image, closely grouped copper-brown pebbles form a dense square field, with warm bronze highlights changing across the individual surfaces. Used selectively, a copper pebble mosaic can introduce a concentrated metallic note without requiring an entire surface to be metal. Their format is especially suited to the accents, borders and rondelles already identified for the product.
For related approaches, the Metal Pebble Mosaics collection provides the immediate material context. Acid Rain offers a contrasting rounded glass vocabulary, while the broader Metal Mosaics collection is useful when coordinating copper pebbles with other metallic tesserae or patterned fields.
Because copper can be specified with verdigris notes, the intended patina should be reviewed as part of the overall palette rather than treated as a secondary detail. The choice between mesh, marble substrate or setting the pebbles into stone also affects how the element meets adjacent surfaces. Samples can help establish the desired relationship between copper colour, grout or stone background and nearby finishes. Where cast copper pebbles form a repeated border or inset, dimensions and junctions should be resolved before fabrication so the rhythm remains coherent through corners and transitions.
