Breccia Medicea di Siena
Breccia Medicea di Siena is a rare historic Italian marble breccia associated with the richly coloured ornamental stones of Tuscany, admired for its fractured composition of ivory, burgundy, terracotta, grey and deeper mineral tones. Historic references connect Breccia Medicea with the Medici period, when stones of this family were used for prestigious architectural and decorative works, including columns, wall panels, floor slabs and ornamental interiors. Closely linked with Cosimo I de’ Medici and Renaissance Tuscany, Breccia Medicea has been associated with important Florentine works including the Medici Chapels, Palazzo Pitti and the choir of Florence Cathedral.

Its mosaic-like structure gives it a powerful architectural presence, making it especially suited to luxury interiors, statement stone panels, bathrooms, fireplace surrounds, furniture, decorative slabs and projects where rarity, historic provenance and expressive natural pattern are essential.
