Glazed Lava Bricks and Split-Faced Texture

The irregular faces turn each glazed lava brick into a small relief, so illumination becomes part of the composition rather than simply a practical consideration. Across the dark surface, reflective brown, charcoal and subtle petrol tones move between projecting ridges and recesses. This makes the Heavy Metal glazed lava bricks particularly suited to schemes where a wall is intended to register differently from changing viewpoints.
