Blue Bubble Glass Tiles and Layered Colour

Effervescence in Blue has a saturated blue-violet field punctuated by hundreds of clear and darker rounded bubbles. The irregular distribution gives the surface depth without relying on a printed motif, while each convex element catches a different highlight. The result rewards close viewing as much as overall surface colour. In a larger installation, the effect is less like a conventional flat tile and more like a continuous luminous skin, particularly where grazing or directional light can move across the surface.
