To maximise surface movement and visual depth, the glaze is applied to the reverse face of the tile. This process creates a more textured finish, allowing the glaze to break, pool and crystallise in unexpected ways. The resulting surface captures and reflects light differently throughout the day, creating a constantly changing interplay of colour, texture and shadow.

Layers of turquoise, teal, verdigris and mineral blue interact across the surface, creating remarkable depth and complexity. The reactive nature of the glaze means each firing produces subtle differences in tone, pattern and crystalline formation, making every tile unique.
