The Imperial Navy glazed ceramic tile should be assessed through physical samples in the lighting and material context of the proposed room. It can form an enveloping single-colour wall or provide the darkest note within a more varied blue composition. Small differences in glaze depth, surface movement and edge profile belong to the handmade character and should be distributed deliberately across the finished area.

Batch Variation and Installation

For larger schemes, review a representative batch mock-up and agree the grout joint from the actual dimensional variation of the supplied tiles rather than from a rectified-tile convention. Where the tile is proposed for showers, pool rooms or other wet settings, the substrate, waterproofing, adhesive and grout system must be specified as a complete assembly. Floor, exterior and submerged applications require written project-specific confirmation.
