Our cast copper border is created from sandcast copper, then expertly inlaid into black polished marble. Each copper segment has been sand cast individually. Not one piece is the same. These cast copper segments are assembled together before they are set into a depression created in the black limestone.

This modern take on the inlay technique is rather playful, while the natural tarnishing of the copper will create a beautiful patina over time. Use as a border or create an interesting composition with this unique product. Cast Copper Border with Sunflower Inlay

Girasole Cast Copper inlaid Border has a bold, graphic presence, with warm copper sunflower forms set into a dark polished stone field. The contrast is immediate: the black ground gives depth and shadow, while the copper inlay brings warmth, texture and a handworked metallic surface. The circular centre and irregular petal edge give each motif a crafted, almost emblematic quality.
