Bone Horn Versailles Inlay – Parquet de Versailles in Bone & Horn
Bone and Horn veneered over a Marine Ply base or over marble.
Imagine a room adorned in Bone and Horn, so luxurious it could be mistaken for Ivory ?
This versatile product is suitable for use on walls, low traffic flooring (powder rooms) and inlaid into furniture. This product is fully customisable.
This bone horn Versailles inlay takes the classical Parquet de Versailles structure and gives it a sharper, more graphic expression through black horn and pale bone. The design is built around repeated square panels, diagonal lattice work and inset geometric blocks, creating a highly ordered surface with strong black-and-white contrast.
The dark horn gives the pattern depth and definition, while the pale bone softens the field with natural tonal variation. Compared with the all-bone version, Parquet de Versailles in Bone & Horn feels more dramatic and architectural in its visual rhythm, but still carries the hand-worked character of natural veneer and inlay.
For clarity, this is a bone and horn veneer product, not ivory. It sits within De Ferranti’s specialist surface language, where pattern, natural material and project-specific construction can be brought together for walls, furniture, panels and carefully specified interior floors.
Bone Horn Versailles Inlay can be considered for decorative wall panels, powder-room floors, cabinet fronts, doors, screens, ceiling panels, tabletops, columns and furniture inlays, subject to backing, fixing method and expected wear. The product may be veneered over Marine Ply or marble, allowing De Ferranti to discuss the most suitable construction for the application.
