Metal Surfaces with Texture

Metal Surfaces with Texture

Metaltex is a study of metal as surface language - where texture, patina, and relief become the design, shifting from industrial rawness to artisan craft depending on how the light hits and the hand has worked the material.

Metaltex brings together textured metal finishes across multiple techniques and expressions: sprayed and metallised surfaces, cast metal panels, beaten and worked sheets, and hybrid compositions that combine metal with other materials for contrast and depth. The collection spans both low and high reliefs, from subtle micro-textures that read like soft abrasion or brushed grain, to deep sculptural forms that behave like architectural ornament.

Patinas range from quiet and mineral to dramatic and oxidised - darkened bronzes, smoky blacks, warm brass tones, aged coppers, and layered finishes that evolve across a panel like weathering. Some pieces are deliberately irregular and handmade in feel, while others are more controlled and geometric, allowing Metaltex to sit comfortably in both contemporary and heritage-led interiors.

Suitable for feature walls, cabinetry cladding, bar fronts, doors, fireplace surrounds, lifts, and bespoke architectural detailing where tactility matters. Specify according to use, as some patinas and relief treatments are best for low-contact vertical applications, while more durable sealed finishes can be developed for higher-wear settings.
