The Blues Mix – Handmade Glazed Ceramic Tile Blend
The Blues Mix is a curated blend of handmade glazed ceramic tiles from the De Ferranti x AAA - Alvaro Afonso Atelier collection, combining closely related blue tones to create depth, movement and mural-like surface variation.
The Blues Mix brings together Mistwashed Sky MC44, Midnight Delft MC27 Sea MC52, Imperial Navy MC28 and Pale Lagoon MC39 in a tonal composition designed to feel rich, atmospheric and painterly.
Rather than using contrast for effect, this mix creates beauty through similarity. The colours belong to the same blue family, but each glaze carries its own mood: soft sky, deep Delft, oxidised sea , formal navy and pale lagoon. When installed together, these shifts create a surface full of movement, texture and quiet drama.
The Blues Mix is particularly suited to Feature walls, Bathrooms, Swimming pools, Spas, Garden rooms, Courtyards, Kitchen backsplashes and Large mural-style installations. It can be supplied as a balanced mix or adjusted to favour lighter, darker, greener or more indigo tones depending on the project.
