Wood Bark is composed of small timber pieces arranged in a tight grid, each block carrying its own grain, fissures, and natural surface character. The face has a bark-like, cracked texture with subtle rises and dips, creating a tactile relief that reads almost like dried earth or ancient wood panelling when installed across a wall.
The palette moves through chocolate, tobacco, and charred brown, with occasional lighter streaking and tonal shifts that stop the surface from feeling flat. A matte finish keeps the look natural and reduces sheen, so the texture is expressed through shadow rather than reflection.
Best suited to vertical applications such as feature walls, alcoves, headboards, bar fronts, fireplace surrounds (subject to heat detailing), and boutique joinery cladding where touch and atmosphere matter. Specify for dry interior environments, and avoid wet zones unless a suitable protective treatment system is agreed. Install with tight joints and careful alignment to keep the patchwork intentional, and use warm, low-angle lighting to bring out the relief.
