A rhythmic tangle of line and shadow, Wild Vine captures the spontaneous energy of nature in motion. Each strand of vine is individually cut and arranged, creating a swirling composition that feels organic yet intentional – like a forest floor frozen in time.

The natural tones move through deep espresso, burnt umber, tobacco and honeyed brown, contrasted by the crisp white grout that traces and defines every curve. The interplay between the dark, irregular vine pieces and the lighter ground gives the surface a graphic vitality while preserving its raw, botanical authenticity.

Fresh wild vine is sun-dried, treated for longevity, cut by hand and inlaid onto a substrate. Once set, grout is applied and the surface is ground to achieve a smooth yet tactile finish that retains the natural ridges and subtle fibre variations of the material.

No two panels are ever identical. The density of line, the thickness of each vine segment and the tonal shifts across the surface ensure that every installation carries its own character.
