Bamboo Zigzag – Natural Grout
A dynamic evolution of our bamboo fan composition, this panel sets opposing directional fibres into a subtle zigzag formation. The natural grout softens the geometry, allowing the movement of the grain to remain the dominant visual language.

Fresh bamboo poles are sun-dried, pest-treated and carefully crushed to expose their fine linear character. The fibres are arranged in opposing fan formations, creating a restrained zigzag pattern reminiscent of folding hand fans placed back-to-back, then fixed to a substrate using adhesive and mechanical fastening.

A natural-toned grout is applied and the surface is ground smooth, producing a seamless, tactile finish that enhances warmth and continuity. The result is a quietly expressive surface that shifts gently with light, combining the refinement of straw marquetry with the durability of bamboo.

Supplied in its natural tone, the panel can also be stained or dyed to achieve bespoke colourways.
