Palladian Square-Fluted Vicenza Stone
Carved from the pale of Vicenza – the very stone favoured by Andrea Palladio – this texture reinterprets classical fluting with a sharper architectural language. Unlike the traditional concave flute, these channels are squared and linear, creating crisp shadow lines and a more disciplined, contemporary rhythm.

The warm, chalky tonality of Vicenza stone – soft creams, biscuit hues and faint fossil traces – is enhanced by the precise geometry of the cut. Light catches the flat planes and defined edges differently throughout the day, producing a controlled play of light and shadow rather than the softness of rounded carving.

Laid vertically, the square flutes emphasise height and monumentality; laid horizontally, they introduce calm linear movement across walls, fireplaces or façades. Available in tile and slab format, and finished honed, brushed or in our signature Eggshell , this surface bridges Palladian heritage with modern architectural clarity.
