Fawntan Stone Stripes is produced by cutting natural stone into slender sections approximately 6 mm thick, with randomised lengths that are carefully inlaid onto a substrate using adhesive. The surface is then ground smooth to create a unified finish, allowing the individual strips to read as a continuous textured field.
The design is inspired by the quiet variation found within a single stone palette, where shifts in tone, veining and character form a layered, almost woven appearance. This restrained composition makes it suitable for both contemporary and classical settings, offering texture without visual noise.
Available in sizes from 10 x 10 cm up to 100 x 100 cm, with thickness varying according to application. Typical formats include 8 mm for tiles and 10 mm to 19 mm for wall panels and bespoke elements.
Suitable for tiles, wall décor, cladding, flooring, countertops, tabletops, mirror frames and furniture accents, Fawntan Stone Stripes provides a refined way to introduce natural material texture into architectural surfaces.
