Woodfired in traditional arabesque kilns, the colour palette moves naturally through pale chalk, soft biscuit, honey and faint terracotta blushes. Some pieces carry delicate smoke shadows and freckles from the firing process, giving the surface a quiet, time-aged that cannot be replicated by modern kiln methods.
The dark grout line accentuates the undulating form, tracing the curves and emphasising the woven character of the layout. When laid, Mimbre creates a floor or wall surface that feels tactile, warm and deeply architectural – at once rustic and refined.
