Laid in a classic diamond formation, this woodfired terracotta floor celebrates restraint, proportion and tonal nuance. Fired in traditional arabesque kilns, each tile carries subtle shifts of cream, sand, honey and soft burnt clay, with the occasional deeper russet accent that feels entirely organic.

The small modules create a gentle movement across the surface, their slightly softened edges and natural variation in thickness giving the floor a quietly timeworn character. No two pieces are identical – flame, ash and atmosphere leave faint blushes, smoke shadows and mineral speckling that give the surface depth rather than uniformity.

The pale grout lines emphasise the geometry without overpowering it, allowing the warm chalky palette to remain the focus. The overall effect is understated, architectural and timeless – a floor that feels as though it has always belonged to its setting.
