From De Ferranti’s Semi-Precious Tile and Slab collection, Septaria is prized for its distinctive network of “cracks” and cell-like patterning, created as nodules and sediments fractured and later filled with darker deposits. The result is a surface of bold, organic geometry: pale fields interrupted by webbed outlines, smoky lines, and irregular compartments that feel both primal and surprisingly graphic.
This selection carries a gentle honey and ivory palette, with charcoal-to-espresso veining and occasional translucent touches that add depth. The composition reads as brecciated and architectural, with natural variation across the slab ensuring every cut is unique.
Available as slab for tabletops, worktops, vanity tops, wall cladding, fireplace features, and bespoke architectural details, and also workable into cut-to-size tiles for feature panels or framed installations. Septaria pairs beautifully with bronzes, dark timbers, parchment tones, and warmer marbles, and is perfect wherever you want a statement surface that feels elemental, historic, and entirely of the earth.
