Most reclaimed batches come from country houses, but hexagon terracotta is also found in a wide range of traditional structures, giving each lot its own character and level of .
As with all handmade antique materials, variation is part of the appeal. Sizes are typically 15 cm or 20 cm across, but individual tiles can drift slightly, and thickness is usually around 25 mm, with expected irregularities in edges, surface texture and tone.
