A striking Pietre Dure panel set into a jet-black marble field, centred with a lace-like mother of pearl rosette and finished with Swarovski crystal highlights for a subtle, jewellery-grade shimmer.

This panel is built around contrast and precision. A deep, jet-black marble ground provides a dramatic stage for the central rosette - hand-cut from luminous white mother of pearl , with each “petal” shaped to create a crisp, filigree effect. The surrounding geometry is equally deliberate: a bold circular frame and corner returns create an architectural, classical layout that reads like a medallion set into stone.

In the outer panels, small tesserae of mother of pearl introduce a warmer note - a soft golden-yellow iridescence that shifts with the light and plays beautifully against the cooler whites. Interspersed throughout are Swarovski crystals, carefully set as pinpoint accents. They do not overpower the composition, but catch light in a way stone and shell cannot, giving the surface a discreet sparkle that feels closer to high jewellery than traditional flooring.
