This panel captures the quiet realism is known for: an apricot rosebud formed from carefully selected stones, with subtle colour shifts used to suggest depth, petal curvature and natural shading. The stem and leaves are cut in layered green stones, with fine veining and tonal variation chosen to echo botanical detail without paint or surface printing.
Each element is cut, fitted and inlaid by hand, then finished to a unified plane so the image reads as part of the stone itself. The composition is restrained and elegant, ideal as a wall panel, frieze insert, fireplace detail, niche lining or furniture inlay where a single motif is meant to feel precious rather than busy.
As with all work, stone selection drives the final character, so slight variation in colour and veining is inherent, and bespoke palettes, sizes and layouts can be produced to commission.
