Medievale Grande combines Black , Rosso Verona, and White Pietra di Prun in an expanded repeat where the geometry has more breathing room and stronger rhythm. Black quatrefoil forms anchor the field with confident contrast, while Rosso Verona accents punctuate the intersections, adding warmth and a measured cadence. White Pietra di Prun provides the luminous ground, allowing the pattern to remain crisp and legible even at distance.
As the larger-scale counterpart to Medievale Piccolo, this version is ideal for grander halls, reception areas, galleries and open-plan interiors where a tighter repeat could feel busy. The increased scale emphasises the architectural nature of the design, giving a sense of permanence, proportion and historical gravitas.
Part of De Ferranti’s Pavimenti Collection, Medievale Grande can be tailored to suit project requirements, with natural variation in tone and veining across each stone selection and the option to refine layout to room geometry.
