This uses slender rectangular stone pieces laid in a disciplined herringbone repeat. The mix of pale and mid-tone stone creates depth without high contrast, while the distressed finish softens the overall read, giving the surface a gently timeworn character rather than a sharp, modern edge.
Supplied mesh-backed for easier installation and consistent pattern alignment, it is suitable for floors and walls depending on specification. It works particularly well in bathrooms, showers, kitchens, entrance halls and feature panels, where the herringbone adds movement and direction without becoming busy.
As a natural stone , expect variation in tone, veining and fill. A warm grey, beige or soft taupe grout will keep the pattern cohesive and allow the herringbone geometry to read cleanly.
