From De Ferranti’s Stone Mosaics category, this border is crafted from hard limestones and contrasting stones selected for tone and veining. The central motif is a continuous scroll formed from deep charcoal and inky blue-black , with occasional warm brown and veining that adds life and natural variation through the band.
The scrolls sit on a creamy ground, laid in tight, curved courses to emphasise the circular motion. A dark framing line at the top and bottom contains the composition and sharpens the border’s architectural edge, while the surrounding blocks read like aged paving stones - softly mottled, calm, and timeless.
Ideal for perimeter runs, corridor detailing, or to frame larger stone fields where you want a clear classical reference with a stronger graphic presence.
