Ovidius Border is composed of small hand-set stone , framed top and bottom by a continuous band of charcoal and black pieces that reads crisp and architectural once grouted. The border is divided into repeating panels by narrow vertical black piers, giving it a measured, frieze-like cadence.
Within each panel, a centred sits on the diagonal, alternating between a cool dove-grey stone and a warmer golden blend. Around the , a pale -like field is laid in softly irregular , with subtle tonal variation that keeps the surface lively and authentic rather than overly graphic.
Use it to finish a perimeter, define a threshold, break up a large stone field, or create a band at dado height on walls. It pairs especially well with calm, honed stones and micro-mosaics, where the dark frame can anchor the layout. As with all natural stone mosaics, expect variation in shade and veining, and seal appropriately for wet areas and high-traffic floors.
