Fish Scale Stone is produced by cutting natural stones into small elements, approximately 12 mm thick, which are then inlaid onto a substrate following the classic scalloped layout. Once assembled, the surface is ground to a honed finish, creating a smooth yet visually layered field.
The composition combines materials such as Chestnut Brown, Mocha, Blue Fawntan and Beige stone, allowing subtle contrasts to define each curved band while maintaining an overall harmonious palette. The repetition of form creates a flowing, almost textile-like effect across walls or floors.
Thickness varies depending on application, typically around 10 mm for tiles and 10 mm to 19 mm for wall panels and bespoke elements. Suitable for wall décor, cladding, flooring, countertops, tabletops, mirror frames and furniture accents, this offers a refined way to introduce pattern through material rather than colour alone.
