Lapis Mare Wave Mosaic is formed from individually cut tesserae in two distinct tones of lapis lazuli . The darker midnight blues anchor the composition, while lighter cobalt and mineral -flecked pieces introduce variation and depth.

Flowing across the field, a sculpted wave band in mother of pearl creates rhythm and contrast. Its soft iridescence catches the light, gently separating the tonal lapis layers while reinforcing the sense of movement through the design.

Each element is delicately cut and hand assembled, part of De Ferranti’s Semi-Precious Stone collection where hardstones are transformed into richly detailed mosaics. Natural variation in the lapis ensures that no two panels are identical.
