Inspired by the mirrored rooms of , this uses hand-prepared mirror elements to create a surface that feels luminous rather than harsh. The 5 x 5 cm scale gives a more structured, graphic grid than micro-tessera, making it ideal where you want reflection with a sense of order and proportion.
As with our Mughal mirror work, the mirrored pieces are derived from blown glass “balloons” that are mirrored, then handcut and fixed onto a stone base, producing subtle variation from tile to tile. The result is a gently animated surface - light-catching, slightly irregular, and far more characterful than standard mirror tiles.
Supplied on mesh-backed sheets for installation. Ideal for feature walls, niches, ceilings, columns, bar fronts, and decorative inserts in interior architectural schemes. Available by commission with antiqued options and bespoke layout detailing.
